Thanks for stopping by! My name is Andrea, I am the lead designer and blogger at Harlow and Thistle, a design blog for DIY decor and everything in between. I love finding unique ways to create a luxe look for less.

My initial rational for starting this blog was to document my wedding DIY projects and as a means to prevent post-wedding withdrawal. Luckily I married the man of my dreams who encourages me to continue to be creative everyday.

We have been fortunate to have two little boys and they are the loves of our life. You will often see them as helpers in some of my project pics.

We recently moved our family to be closer

to my husband’s work. I left my corporate job behind and I’m trying the “stay at home mom” thing for awhile. We’ll see how it goes.
