Do you decorate your house for Valentine's Day? In the past we haven't but this year, since we're all stuck at home, we thought we'd decorate a bit for cupid to break the monotony. Today we're sharing a DIY heart wall hanging. We love this Valentine's Day decor craft because it gives a subtle nod to Valentine's Day without being overly cheesy. 

To get started you're going to need some pink yarn, a branch and hot glue. If you're like me you have this lying around the house. Now, get comfortable, you're going to need approx 50 tassels. This isn't as time consuming as the tassel lamp shade we made last summer but it still takes time so plunk yourself down in front of Netflix and plow through it. We've made these DIY tassels many times on the blog so be sure to check out those tutorials.

Then we laid out the tassels in the shape of a heart and hot glued the twine onto the branch. We added an additional layer of tassels after this photo to create more of an ombre effect.

There you have it! DIY Valentine's decor for the modern home.
