Valentine's Day Breakfast in Bed Ideas
Go Thrifting
To put this together I visited my local thrift store and picked up a few pink coloured dishes and a glassware. The thrift store is the best place to find fun multi-coloured dishware at good prices. I also love the idea of thrifting whole bunch of different shades of pink and red dishes and creating an ombre table (which I still might do). Just wash your thrift store finds really well and you're good to go.
Invest in a Serving Tray
If you don't have one of these I strongly recommend investing in one. They are great for not only breakfast in bed but for serving snacks to the kids or using it for crafts (their little legs fit right under). I purchased this folding bed tray from Kitchen Stuff Plus.
Heart Pancakes
Admittedly I'm not the best cook but I can make a mean pancake (the secret is loads of hot butter in the pan). I made these heart shape pancakes by placing a dollup of batter in a hot buttered pan and then simply using a spoon to shape the heart before the batter started to cook. I suppose you could use a metal heart cookie cutter but this was so much cleaner and I like the rustic rough edges of the pancakes.
I hope you liked these ideas for your Valentine's Day Breakfast in Bed.
Have a wonderful Valentine's day or Galentine's day.
