More Christmas Mantel Faux Fireplace Ideas
If you caught my post yesterday, one thing I forgot to mention is that it was my second look. The post below was my first Christmas mantel however my husband thought it looked a little too pink (he's very
traditional), so I redecorated in more traditional
tones per that last post. So without further aduie here are more Christmas mantel decor ideas for faux fireplaces with help from our friends at Kitchen Stuff Plus.
For this look, I used a cake plate and cake stand to display some candles and lanterns on one end of the mantel and I picked up two gold reindeer for the other side of the mantel. Finally I hung a few mismatched stockings from the mantel ready for sugar plums and oranges... or perhaps coal.
I stacked some books within the fireplace surround and I love the look.
I adorned the wall with a DIY pampas grass Christmas wreath which I made for less than $10.
Finally, I used some of the pampas grass I picked up along the side of the road in a couple glass bottles from Kitchen Stuff Plus to serve as garland beside the fireplace surround.
