So, this is the first year I learned of "Galentine's Day",  a girl party the day before Valentine's Day - 'Hoes before Bros' people! I cannot tell you how much I wish this was around when I was single, it would have taken the sting out of "Single Awareness Day" (aka Valentine's Day). I love Parks and Recreation so I'm not sure how I missed this. In any case, I think it's hilarious and amazing - thank you Amy Poehler!

I will be celebrating Galentine's Day with my girls this weekend and thought I'd put together a cute little 'Galentine's Day" table for the occasion. PS - I will also be using this for a Valentine's breakfast for the boys (sans the wine glasses of course).

I made these heart placemats using plain oval heart placemats from the dollarstore. I just cut them into a heart - that's it. Probably the easiest DIY I've made on this blog.




I dressed up the table with some floral napkins, my marble chocolates and my gold cutlery (this was the most amazing Christmas present from my husband - he got them at Homesense).




I wish I had found my champagne flutes but the wine glasses will do.
