Today marks the first day of the Interior Design Show in Toronto running Thursday January 19 to Sunday January 22. #IDS17 is a show that brings together the newest and most innovative of international and Canadian design. I will be sharing event details on Instagram so be sure to tune in.

The following is my list of Top 5 "must see" items at IDS ...


1. The Party - Opening Night - Thursday January 19 from 7pm - 11pm
This is a kick-off party for the entire conference where industry influencers and design talents gather together to celebrate eachother and enjoying great food and drink. I will be filling up my Instastory during the event so check it out.

2. Nika Zupanc - Friday January 20 at 11am
http://toronto.interiordesignshow.com/speakers/ is an independent designer who works on projects that grow out of distinctive interpretations of modern culture, contemporary design and technology. One of my favourite things to her credit is the Stay chair from the Se Collection.

3. PARA Paints presents Scott McGillvray - Sunday January 22 at 1:30pm
PARA Paints will have Scott McGillivray along with House and Home Magazine discussing top design Tips and Tricks at their booth.

4. Studio North and Prototype
In a Gallery-like setting over 65 Canadian and international designers will be presenting one-off and custom collections of furniture, lighting, glass, ceramics, textiles and surface design. This is sure to be an inspiring exhibit.

5. The LAB
This is where technology meets design. This curated section will feature the newest and latest technology, apps and gadgets for design trade professionals and homeowners.
