I love the look of real flowers but let's be honest, with two kiddos the chances of me keeping up a fresh flower regime is pretty slim.  I found some artificial flowers and a bowl at the dollar store and decided to start an artificial flower regime.

The key to finding the perfect artificial flower is in the petals. If you can find them the ones with the rubbery type petals are best. They look and feel the most real.
I cut them down to size, stripped off the leaves and arranged them within the bowl. You could also glue them to the bottom of the bowl if you'd like. I opted out of this so that I can change them up.
