This idea came to me when I wanted to add some industrial shelves to my son's room but couldn’t find them at an affordable price (eg $5 or free). I was resting my head on my desk at the time when I looked across the room and in my tilted view saw two baskets full of pens and knick knacks - a light bulb went off. I quickly emptied them out and held them up against the wall. They were perfect.
These baskets were originally from Walmart and were just collecting dust. Now they add the perfect touch of scruff to my son’s room. Be sure to put a nail into each of the four corners to secure it to the wall. Also consider using a washer if the wire work is spread out.
 I love this idea and it has me rethinking every container in my home – look out laundry basket ; )
