DIY Holiday Kids Table
Keeping my toddler at the table during a holiday dinner is no small feat. That was my inspiration for this DIY Holiday Kids Table. I'm certain it will keep the kids entertained for the whole meal ... hmm at least 10 minutes ... probably more like 5 ... ya they'll be running around as soon as the popcorn's gone.
Note there are elements of a BIY (buy it yourself) in this one but it's all from the dollar store - yep, even that cute mustache note pad.
I made the red pom pom garland with a needle and thread.
The popcorn turkey is made from three paper bags. Use two paper bags for the legs. Cut them a bit smaller and add the fringed white paper to the ends. Fill the main bag with popcorn and put a slit in it.
I put the turkey in a baking dish and added some holly and festive greenery for effect.
I used white craft paper for the table cloth and simply drew the place setting with a black marker.
Inside the kids box is a note pad, some crayons, a lolly-pop and a stuffed mouse.
