This is a throw-back to a DIY I made in 2013 (guess I should have posted it on THT oh well). It's a DIY cake stand made out of a plate and a glass. Sounds so simple - and it is! I've used a margarita glass but experiment with different glasses or jars to see what works for you. Spray paint the inside of the glass gold for a fresh and updated look. I think it makes the glass look like gold rather than matte. I really like the way it turned out.
