DIY Cake Topper with Leaves #HolidayForageFriday
This little wind-blown cake topper will be sure to add a bit of whimsy to your Thanksgiving table. I created this leaf cake topper as my entry into the #HolidayForageFriday challenge - check it out
on Instagram to see all other entries. Top tags will be posted on
Friday.
Be sure to spray your leaves with a clear coat to prevent them from crunching and to clear them of any bugs.
Wrap the wire around a cylinder shape - we've used a toilet paper roll here.
Glue the leaves onto the wire with a glue gun - watch your fingers.
Wrap the wire around a birthday candle to easily stick them into the cake.
I also thought about putting a little chalkboard "Thankful" sign in the middle but ran out of time.
