This is a quick DIY for a cute and original Hostess gift. You can paint the spoons free-hand or use tape as a stencil. I made some simple stripes but Gorilla tape has some great patterned tape (eg zig zag etc). I strongly recommend using Gorilla tape because it does the best job at keeping the lines straight (I ran out for some of the spoons below and you can really see the difference). When the spoons have dried give them a quick spray of varnish to maintain durability.
