DIY Wedding Gallery Wall, Signature Drink and Seating Cards
Here are a few of my other Wedding DIY projects. The first is my family picture wall. I really wanted to have pictures of our parents, siblings and grandparents on their wedding day to give guests something to look at during cocktail hour. I created this gallery wall by arranging them on the ground and then, once I was happy with the layout I ran ribbon behind each frame and adhered it to the white bar.
The next item on the list is our signature drink called "The Surprise Date" (white cranberry, vodka and soda). It was named "The Surprise Date" because when my fiance and i were dating he often would pick me up and take me on a surprise date - he wouldn't tell me where we were going but would give me a hint. So fun - how could you not fall in love. Any way, I thought it would be cute to include this in our wedding. Each drink had a flag with one of the hints he gave me - allowing each guest to guess one of the surprise dates he took me on.
The last item I wanted to share was our DIY seating cards. Again, these were your standard tent fold cards printed on my home computer. The thing that made them special was the personalized note written in each of them - for example if I knew the guest just had a baby I wrote "congratulations on your new arrival" or if they flew in from afar I wrote "thanks for making the trip". It was something small that the guests loved.
