My husband and I got pregnant a year after our wedding (we actually heard the heart beat for the first time on our 1st anniversary). On our 3 month ultrasound we found out the baby was a boy, yeah! We wanted to do something special to reveal the baby's gender to our families. I decided to make cupcakes with blue icing inside - informative and delicious.

To get the icing in the center I simply cut a circle in the top of the cupcake - be sure to put your knife on a slant so the piece that comes out is cone shaped. Put your icing in the center, replace the top and apply a thin layer of icing on the top to 'glue' it shut. My dad thought the blue looked like a baby carriage - which is a bonus.
