This wedding crystal tree was an ode to my parents. I originally wanted to have my wedding in my parent's backyard but logistically it wouldn't work so I did the next best thing and brought their garden to my wedding. Using a branch from their corkscrew tree I created the most amazing DIY Wedding Crystal Tree for my seating card table - at no cost!

My parent's have this beautiful Corkscrew Hazel tree in their backyard and the offered to let me cut off a branch.


 After taking off the leaves we solidified the branch in a square vase with some plaster of paris.


I added some strings of crystals and on the morning of my wedding I hot-glued some orchid's to the tree and placed some football mums and hydrangea's in the oasis in the base.
Here is the final product - I absolutely loved it!
