DIY Marble Chocolate Hearts - Valentine's Day Gift
This past Christmas I received two marble cheese boards as gifts and I was so excited! I love anything marble which is why I decided to create these marble chocolate hearts for Valentine's day.
The typical method to make marble chocolate is to mix white and dark chocolate together, in this case I used white chocolate and swirled in some black food colouring to create the marble veins. I think it looks a lot more realistic.
Here are the things you'll need to create these marble chocolate hearts for your Valentine: white melting chocolate, black food colouring, hearts mold and toothpicks.
I melted the chocolate in the microwave (30 second intervals, mixing in between).
I filled up the mold and gently tapped it to release any bubbles.
Then I put it in the freezer to set (about 15 min).
I popped the chocolate hearts out of the mold and they were perfect!
These marble chocolate hearts would make a perfect Valentine's Day gift!
